Libredoo v0.1.4 · pre-release

Odoo, self-hosted in one command. No per-seat fees.

Libredoo is a free distribution of Odoo Community with the integrations and automations commercial ERPs charge for. Like LibreOffice is to Office, Libredoo is to Odoo. Runs on any VPS, home server, or laptop.

01

Upstream Odoo 19 Community

Stock LGPL Odoo plus PostgreSQL 15, packaged as a Compose stack. Nothing forked, nothing hidden, every community module still works.

02

Guided first-run setup

Pick what your business does. The right apps get installed and the database is created for you. No database manager, no config files.

03

Connectors without the tier

The setup wizard wires real Stripe payments, outgoing email, and an inbound lead-capture webhook straight into invoices and CRM - no config files, one real test before you rely on any of it. The pieces commercial plans gate, unmetered.

Get it running in 3 steps

No account, no signup. Download the files, run one command, open your browser.

  1. 1
    Download the installer

On Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) you can use the desktop app instead: unzip it, double-click LibredooDesktop.exe, and it does steps 2 and 3 for you in its own window. It still needs Docker Desktop. The app is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time: click More info, then Run anyway.

  2. 2
    Run it
    $./install.shmacOS / Linux, in Terminal
    >.\install.ps1Windows, in PowerShell

Generates your secrets, pulls Odoo + PostgreSQL, and starts the setup wizard. Leave the domain prompt empty to run on this computer; on a server, type your domain (DNS pointed at it, ports 80 and 443 open) and the bundled Caddy proxy fetches a free HTTPS certificate for it.

  3. 3
    Open your browser
    →http://localhost:8080

Name your business, tick the apps you need (CRM, Invoicing, Website, Inventory), and Libredoo builds your ERP for you — then hands you to your running Odoo, apps ready.

What you need first

One thing: Docker Desktop, installed and running. It is free for personal use and eligible small businesses; other organizations may need a paid subscription. Check Docker's licensing terms.
